care through the lens of gender

Women First

Women First is the gender lens through which Doctors on Ground sees, measures, and builds its work. Operating as one of our core flagships, Women First is our way of respecting and paying credence to the intersectional nature of healthcare as felt by women.

Community Healthcare Support

#JagaJiran

#JagaJiran is our core initiative to address gaps in healthcare across various populations. #JagaJiran is a network of volunteers who go on the ground (and who don't need to have a medical background or training) to visit, check up on, and support patients who otherwise may not have the means to access support themselves.

Roles in data and records management fall across three areas: patient registration, case documentation, and health data management.

Patient RegistrationSupporting the intake and registration of new patients we meet at screenings, clinics, and community initiatives.
Patient Case RegistrationPreparing case records for field missions, maintaining visit logs, and processing case reports brought back from the field.

Project RecordkeepingFiling and maintaining post-project documentation, including impact reports, project timelines, budgets, and partnership information. It means ensuring that when a project concludes, its full record is accurately captured and accessible for future reference.
Site ManagementTracking and managing the inventory across projects to account for materials before, during, and after each deployment.
Cross-unit CoordinationWorking closely with the Partnerships & Engagement Unit to maintain accurate partnership records, and acting as the bridge between returning project teams and the Health Data Unit to notify the arrival of new patient data for processing.

the ones who bring people in

Partnerships & Engagement (PEU)

The Partnerships & Engagement Unit (PEU) is the outward-facing arm of Doctors on Ground. They look at opening doors for partnerships and collaborations across a wide range of actors— brands, studios, corporations, government branches, and community groups— to amplify our mission. We are actively expanding the PEU to cover these roles:

Partnership DevelopmentIdentifying and reaching out to potential partners, drafting outreach messages and proposals, and building a pipeline of prospective collaborations that align with our mission and values.
Partnership ManagementMaintaining active partner relationships, supporting the execution of partnership agreements, and keeping partnership records and documentation accurate and up to date.
Project SupportWorking directly with project teams to ensure partnership agreements are properly executed ahead of and during active collaborations to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Across all areas, leadership roles also drive the strategic direction of the Unit. The Head of the Unit would manage the partnership pipeline at an organisational level and be responsible for overseeing the organisation-wide compliance to partnership standards.
